Thank You!
Dear Swimmers and Parents,
I didn’t get a chance to give my thank-yous in person, but I think it will come out better in writing.
This was my first year ever coaching any sport, and I want to thank you all for your patience and for helping me learn alongside you. I started swimming later in life, so I never got to experience summer or age-group swimming as a kid, and getting to see this side of the sport has been a gift. This team felt like a family, and the banquet was just another example of that—seeing all the age groups playing together and recognizing every family who helped make this season run so smoothly.
A special thank you to Ava, Estrella, and all the other girls who helped with the younger groups. I could not have done my job without you. Thank you to Sally and Michelle for giving me the opportunity to be part of this community—it was truly an honor and a privilege to be welcomed in. And thank you to Hunter for being a great leader and for helping me grow as a coach throughout the season. I value every chance I get to learn from you.
Thank you again to each swimmer and family for making this summer so memorable.
